Violin - 4/4 Full Size Stainer Copy, Probably Made in Germany, Circa Early 1900s, Includes Bow and Hard Case - USED (M-4)
This used full-size Stainer copy was most likely made in Germany in the early 1900s. It is in very good condition and shows normal wear for an instrument this age. One professionally repaired crack in top repaired some time ago and is secure. Tailpiece is presumed to be original and includes flower inlay and inlaid dot. Highly flamed curly maple back and sides and neck, fine grain spruce top, ebony fingerboard, pegs, tailpiece, four gold fine-tuners, "Stainer." stamp on back. Includes a better-quality bow with German nickel silver winding, leather pad, Parisian eye at the frog, pearl inlay on the end screw, pearl slide. Also includes a newer hardshell case.
